Harold Ralph Brummund was born August 23, 1927 in Missouri Valley, IA to Eric and Clara (Allen) Brummund. He attended Bancroft, NE schools. On August 29, 1948, Harold married Darlene Abendroth at Grace Lutheran Church in West Point. Harold farmed in the Bancroft area and was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. Survivors include his wife Darlene of West Point; daughter Sharon (Nathan) Predoehl; son Stanley Brummund; grandchildren Jana (David) Hanel and Jeri Lynn (Christopher) Van Long; great-grandchildren Kylee, Dillon, and Morgan Hanel, and Alexia and Emily Van Long; brother Kenneth (Naomi) Brummund; nieces and nephews.
