I am sorry to hear of your loss. Harold led a very full and adventurous life and could not have asked for much more. He is at peace now and will be with you in spirit always.

I'm so sorry for the loss of your dad, husband (and my uncle). The life you all led, traveling around the world, seemed like an Irish Swiss Family Robinson. Very exciting to your Wisconsin relatives!

My big brother. A good guy. I liked playing cards with him and golfing with him, although we didn't do either often enough. He leaves behind a wonderful wife and family. Sayanora.

I know my dad touched a lot of lives in his lifetime so I wanted him to be able to touch you one last time. Dad, you will live in each one of us & our children, for all times. Our love goes with you

Harold and Robert's Excellent Adventure

When I was in the 6th grade Harold was home on leave.  We lived in Custerdale and I attended St. Paul School, but on this day Harold said I could go with him (versus going to school).  We went downtown to the Howard Hotel where there was a pool hall in the basement.  Imagine that; it was my version of Ferris Buehler's Day Off.  We shot pool and hung out.  At the end of the day we came home and no one was the wiser, not my mother, none of my brothers or sisters, and of course not the Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity

I never told my classmates or anyone because you could never tell who might rat on you.  It was a day I'll never forget.    Thanks Harold.
