I woke up this morning missing you so much, just wanted to talk to you, hold you and be close to you again. The memories I hold in my heart keep me going when I miss you. I love you MOM
I miss you every day
You are always here with me, I can feel your presence.
I love you MOM

I was there on your last day on earth, sitting beside you trying to get as much of the book of Psalms read to you, I knew that was one of your favorite books of the Bible. I was sad when you passed but knew your faith in God had taken you to the heavens above with His open arms and made your body whole. I will miss you from day to days, sometimes sad but always with a smile from the memories we made. I love you my friend <3

A small tribute:
Autumn Season of Life
We are like leaves upon the tree
That through the window I can see
A few there refused to fall
Did not answer autumns call
They flit and fluttered in the breeze
That slowly moved through Maple trees
They most enjoyed the extended time
They spend in this exotic life
And as they change from Green to Gold
There is a message they unfold
I read it in the simple way
They say good-night at close of day
They all enjoyed their short stay
Perhaps it is because they know
That after the winter and the snow
New life will follow with a mate
This in time will prove life can be great
They seem happy as they cling
As if waiting there for spring
But if they, like we, have passed four score
They know that spring will come no more (in this life)
And that their days, have been our years
Some filled with joy, some with tears
And that the one, which has just passed
Was best of all, though it be last,
Harriett you did a good job, we are proud of you.
(Exanastasis next on time line see you then)
I love you with all of my heart and I miss you already. Life will not be the same, I have an emptiness in my heart. Rest in eternal peace mom, until we meet again some day.

Fond memories of Harriett from her exercise class!
Harriett was a dedicated exerciser at Sno-Valley Senior Center for many, many years - so dedicated that she would help raise awareness of the Senior Center by doing things like dressing up and riding on the float in the 4th of July parade ( I loved seeing that picture of her great gams in the photo album on here! ) and helping at the annual plant sale ( depicted in this 2004 picture with Howard Miller ) She always loved our birthday traditions and certain aerobic moves where we would sweep our arms in a wide big circle as we stepped to the right and left ( we called it Harriett's move because she would cue it in her own way). She was faithful to the work of getting and staying strong following her cancer and was always affectionate and kind to her classmates and to me and my boys. It was a privilege to know Harriett. Rest in peace, my friend <3
What a beautiful tribute to your mom!! I have alot of memories!! Unfortunately with age comes lack of memory as my time with Harriett was a few years back.... But to this day my favorite thing to drink is Grape juice, you never had a cheeseburger until Mom ( I remember the day she said you can just call me mom) made you one in the toaster oven the very best burger ever!! I can hear voice calling down the stairs girls are you up Liz....one summer we were going to San Diego we had matching dresses and Ely and her blessing!! Those days are forever in my heart. The picture of Liz and her mom shows the purest love between a mother and her daughter, no words need to said in this case a picture says a thousand words!!
You have fought the battle of life with faith, he now has called you home may your glitter always sparkle for eternity! Rest in peace Harriett, its not goodbye its see you later keep the lights on for the rest of us to follow the way!!
