Harry Alan Ector, II was born June 28, 1993 to Harry and Francine Ector. He attended school in Houston, Texas, Lebanon and Dayton, Ohio and graduated from the Detroit Job Corp Center. After graduating Harry worked many odd jobs such as landscaping, fork lift operator and as a laborer with his dad who did various home and auto repairs, however, none of these occupations seemed to hold Harry’s interest. As many of you may remember, Harry was very smart, but he was hyper and somewhat of a wild child, to put it mildly. He had a tendency to get into everything, BUT the right thing and his parents as well as his grandparents got many a call. But the day Harry’s fiancee’ Katie Rowe, came into his life and he received custody of his daughter, Charisma, his life began to change. The words instilled in him by both his dad and granddad about settling down, changing his contrary ways and finding a steady job began materializing and he soon transformed into the responsible, hardworking man his family always knew he could be.
Harry started working at A & S Party Rental where he was praised for his outstanding work ethics. He left A & S and began driving trucks for his brother Justin’s company, IOB (In & Out Boys) delivery company contracted with JB Hunt. This job inspired him to start his own trucking company, Maximal Transport Delivery, LLC. He grew from 1 truck with 2 men to 4 trucks with 6 employees, contracted with JB Hunt and making deliveries for Macy’s furniture.
Harry’s greatest joy was his family. He loved being a father and he especially appreciated, loved and had great respect for his grandparents. Other interests were his love for animals, cooking, boating, fishing, going to amusement parks, just hanging out with his dad and being his mom’s “handsome, special baby.”
Harry left this life on Wednesday, July 18, 2018, with his family feeling proud of the great accomplishments he had made. He was preceded in death by his grandparents,Rev. Noah Robbins and L. Yvonne Ector; beloved uncle, Alfred “FRO” Ector and cousin, Agyasi Ector.
Left cherishing special memories are his parents, Harry Ector and Francine Ector; Fiancee’ Katie Rowe; Children, Elijah, Charisma and Kyrea; Brothers, Brian and Justin Robbins, Orlando Morehead and Isaiah Ector; Sister, Angela; Grandfather, Alfred B. Ector; Special friends, Lamont Brody and Karen Waitzman; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends.
