Dad was one of 9 children and the youngest of the boys in the family.
My mumand dad were married on the 4 march (1949 ithink this was the year)and had  thier firsi child kieth in 1951. myself , philip and Ann soon followed over the next 7 years .
a loving father and husband , he worked as a coal miner for all of his life , and suffered an accident in thr pit after a roof fall as he went back to help those injured who were trapped .
