Harry C. "Buttons" Smith Jr. passed away on March 12, 2021 at his home in Dayton, Ohio. He was born on February 21, 1949 in Dayton, Ohio. He is survived by his loving children, Reva (Marshall) Moore, Jess (Denise) Smith,  and Jacob (Stephanie) Smith; his grandchildren, Sandra, Laura, Audrey, Krista, Jess jr., Savannah, Lacey, Kara, Conner, Kiaser, Kyndall, and Cole; his great-grandchild, Landen; his siblings,  Linda (Tom) Jones, Marjorie (Jim) Mayfield, Cathy Baer, Virginia Kramer, Roger Smith, Johnny Smith, and Mark Smith. Harry is preceded in death by his parents, Harry C. Smith Sr. and Marjorie Smith; his son, Harry Smith III; his grandchild, Harry Marshall Moore; his great-grandchild, Bryden Johnson; and his brother-in-law, Dan Baer. He was a well known musician that played Gospel with Rev. Crawford for many years. Harry was a devoted father and papaw and will be greatly missed. A visitation will begin at noon and a funeral service will be held on Monday March 22, 2021 at 1PM at The Word of God Church, 3001 Lakehurst, Moraine, Ohio 45439 with burial to follow at Bear Creek Hillgrove Cemetery.
