Harry Russell Coleman, 65, a longtime resident of Granville County passed away Tuesday, October 23rd 2012 at Hock Family Pavilion in Durham.
A native of Orange County, the son of Gee and Anne Coleman, both of Hillsborough. He was a longtime resident of Creedmoor and was editor and publisher of the Butner-Creedmoor News for many years.
Memorial services will be held Sunday, October 28th 2012 at 3:00 PM at Butner Presbyterian Church by Rev. Tom Carlson.
Surviving other than his parents are his wife of forty years, Elizabeth G. Coleman of the home, a daughter, Amy McFalls (Dennis) of Butner, a brother, Keith Coleman(Patricia) of Hillsborough, a sister-in-law, Marty Stephens(Jim) of Cary and a grandson Alex McFalls.
Cut flowers and potted plants accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Hock Family Pavilion, 4023 N. Roxboro Street, Durham, NC 27704 or to one’s favorite charity.
Visitation will be held after the memorial service in the fellowship hall of Butner Presbyterian Church.
Eakes Funeral Home in Creedmoor is assisting the Coleman family.
