Gosh.... it seems like yesterday that Harry and I would visit at the post box . He was such a class act.  I miss him a lot. Prayers to the family . 

I think about Harry everyday...I really do. Every time I pick up my mail...I remember our mailbox chats. He always took a moment to ask about how I was doing...and to share his news and thoughts. He was more than my 'postman'...he was a good friend and we shared many laughs and even some tears.  I think of you, the family, often and hope that God has given you some sort of peace and you have felt some comfort in His love, though the ache of loss is for always.  Sending love and continued prayers, Lesley Bastian

Happy Father's Day, daddy. We love you so much and miss you every day. JLuca talks to you and gives you kisses every day and before bedtime. He loves to show you his toys and carry you around the house and hear you sing. Love you so much, Dad. From the baby, "Vvvvvvvvvvvuh!"

Harry was truly a good man, and the special type of good man whose nature simply could not allow him to see other people be treated unfairly without himself rising up in opposition to challenge that kind of injustice. It's one thing to notice and regret something unfair being done to another person, it's another thing entirely to be the one who steps forward and assertively demands that the others be treated with fairness, respect and dignity. Harry was this person to hundreds of his co-workers, and he voluntarily took on this burden for many years.

I believe our God fondly smiles down on those who toil to help others in this way, and I believe he prepares a special place for them among those whom He welcomes. I have no doubt Harry Pannell earned and occupies a special place in God's hands, just as he has a special place in the hearts of so many who knew him, including myself.

The National Association of Letter Carriers is grateful for Harry, and we extend our deepest appreciation to his family for sharing him with so many workers who relied on him to help them. May God embrace the family to provide comfort in this very difficult time, and you will remain in our thoughts and prayers.

Harry was not only a member of Union UMC, but a great friend, awesome supporter, and a mighty man of God. I will truly miss his presence in worship and ministry to our community. RIP my dear friend... We'll meet again on that blessed Shore...

Harry was my postman for years and we would often share a few moments at the mailbox. He always had a smile and a positive word. He was sincere in asking how things were and would often share his joys and his stresses. I didn't know Harry as well as most of you did, but I feel as blessed to have had the opportunity to have his joyous spirit and Godly advice woven into the fabric of my life. Too brief, certainly, but a very important and beautiful gift to know him. Thank you, Harry. See you again, someday. Lesley

SO SORRY TO HEAR OF HARRY'S DEATHE. WE ARE COUSIN'S. I MUST ADMIT I REALY DIDN'T KNOW OF HIM. AS YOU MUST KNOW WE HAVE A BIG FAMILY. I PRAY THAT "GOD WILL HELP
EVERYONE THREW THIS SAD TIME IN OUR LIVES.

I worked with Harry for a couple years at the Annapolis post office.
When I was a closing supervisor I really got a chance to get to know Harry.
He touch my heart in so many ways.
He took the time out and listen to me and he gave me great advice.
He would remind me how God is here to help me and to have faith that God is here.
He talked a lot about his family and he was so proud of his daughters.
He surprised me one day and brought fried chicken and homemade mac n cheese and it was the best I ever had!!!

Many times after work Harry would play happy hour bartender .
It was like he had a mini bar in the back of his Ford Explorer.
He like his Johnny Walker.
Anyway, that's when Harry would start talking and sharing with me his stories of his life, making me laugh.
He liked fishin too!
He would tell me the places he would go to and how he cooked the fish, and I would say to Harry, you are making me hungry.

He left a good mark in my life that I will never forget him.
Thank you Harry for being a thoughtful carin friend.

I've known Harry for a few years through the Union and Post Office. He was a great friend and and a great Union Leader. He cared about his member a lot. I will miss him….Harry …Rest in Peace my Friend….

Harry you will be greatly missed, your smile and kindness was appreciated to get me through the work day. You were a good hearted man who loved his family and had a great way of treating people with respect. You would help anyone you could with advise to better themselves and their situations. Rest in pease my friend

I was so sad to hear the news about your loved one, but I know he is resting in peace with God. Harry was such a loving person and I just remember that ur family were awesome neighbors. Never would I day go by that Harry wouldn't take the time to stop and talk as we shared beautiful memories about our families. May God continue to be with you all. Much love!

Dad we love you. I wish we we had more time together, but I treasure the time we had.

The times that I was able to meet you I always admired your humble and sweet spirit. You have raised such beautiful and loving daughters and they speak very highly of you all the time. The Greene family love y'all so much and we know that God has received one of his greatest angles.

Harry you are going to be missed so much. You were a wonderful husband, father and "pop pop". The family gatherings we spent together will be a memory we will never forget. You raised Kasha and Leah to be wonderful young ladies. Your smile always lit up the room.
