This year the anniversary of your death snuck up on me. Last year on the December 23 Nana Owen joined you in Heaven.  I now have an extra guardian angel looking over me. Since last year my life has continued to change. I love my new teaching job. I know you are proud of me. I try to live every day in a way that would make you proud. Daisy is getting older but is still fiesty. She is having trouble getting around some now so I pretty much carry her outside. Merry Christmas in Heaven Grandma. I love and miss you.

5 years is a very long time to be without someone you love. Daisy and and I are doing fine. We both miss and love you. I've made a lot of changes in the past year. All of them I couldn't have done without you. You and grandpa have helped me out so much even while in heaven! I'm trying to make you proud, but its a difficult thing to do sometimes. I still have miles to go and will continue to need my "Guardian Angels" to look over me. I love you grandma. By the way, can you send snow this year? Lots and lots of snow! I know when you send snow its your way of saying hi! I love snow, but I'd love to see my new house covered in snow! Thanks grandma! <3 <3 <3

Happy 93rd Birthday Grandma! I thought it would get easier, but I still have days where I miss you terribly and cry uncontrollably.  I know you are in a better place and are spending your birthday with Grandpa in heaven! He's been there 14 years as of yesterday.  I think of you every time I look at Daisy, every time I drive your car, and every time I smell your perfume!  I know you and grandpa are together watching over me. I know every time it snows its your way of saying hi! You said hi a lot last winter!  :-) I love and miss you grandma. Please continue to watch over me and keep me safe and I promise I will continue to watch over Daisy and love her like you would.

Four years have passed.  I still catch myself wanting to call and share something with you.  I don't call your number anymore because I'm afraid someone will answer. I miss you but am less selfish than I have been in the past.  As much as I would love to have you (and Grandpa) back I'm happier that the two of you are together. You see in heaven all the turmoil I have going on I'm my life.  Please help me with this.  You know what's in my heart.  I know you never wanted me to be sad or upset, so please help heal my heart. I know only God can fix this but I was hoping you could help. I love you.  Give all of my loved ones in heaven a big hug and tell them I love them a bushel and a peck! :-) ♥

It's been 3 years grandma. I can't believe it. I miss you so very much. I read what I wrote in 2010 and I still feel the same way. I hope that you are proud of me for what I'm doing. This year 2 more angels left us and joined you in heaven. You and Hubert always got along so well so now you can introduce him to grandpa! I think they will get along just fine!

Grandma was a sweet lady who I love and miss very much! My life will never be the same without her! I try every day to live my life in a way that would make you proud of me!
