This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Hazel Leigh-Renee Holden, born on January 15, 2021, and passed away on March 25, 2021. We will remember her forever.
Funeral Services were held on Monday, March 29, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Cypress Funeral Home in Maurice for precious baby Hazel Leigh Renee Holden, the infant daughter of John E. Holden and Megan Leigh Malespin, who gained her angel wings and went to be with Our Lord and Savior on March 25, 2021.
Deacon Keith Duhon of St. Joseph Catholic Church officiated the service.
Hazel was the most beautiful baby girl, she touched many people’s lives throughout her very short 2 and a half months here with us. She was a precious baby, bringing joy and happiness to everyone she met. Her smile, her laughter and her snuggles were unforgettable; and she gave the best kisses.
God needed her in Heaven with Him and now she is our Special Angel watching over us from up above. Hazel was one of our greatest blessings and she will remain forever in our hearts. Her memory will be cherished, and she will deeply be missed.
In addition to her parents, Hazel is survived by her favorite sister, Hayden J. Holden; and her favorite brothers, Harrison and Hunter Malespin of Milton; Her maternal grandparents, Gus and Karen Malespin “Pop & KK” of Milton; Her Uncle and Aunt Marc and Lauren Malespin; Her cousin Maddox Malespin of Lafayette; Her paternal grandpa, Glenn Landry “Paw Paw” of Kaplan; She is further survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
She is laid to rest in babyland @ Fountain Memorial Cemetery in Lafayette, Louisiana.
