This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Heather Rosa, 47, born on July 20, 1965 and passed away on October 29, 2012. She was a mother first, a  lover of animals, a poet, an athlete,  a caring sister, a loving daughter a good friend and a great listener.

We will remember her forever and we miss her everyday.

She was a victim of Domestic Violence perpetuated by her husband of less than year.  The  trial is set for October 31,2014 nearly 2 years after her death and her family continues to suffer the horrors of this crime.  We will continue to update the status of her case and thank everyone for their care and concern. Once the trial is done, this site will go on as a loving tribute to Heather.  Until then, this site will serve as an update of the trial  for all who loved her.

It was a horrific experience and we would have to wait 3 months before learning the fate of her killer.  On Sept 18th, her murderer was sentenced to 26 years to life, the maximum sentence allowable. Thank you to those 12 strangers who did the right thing.

And can it be that in a world so full and busy the loss of one creature makes a void so wide and deep that nothing but the width and depth of eternity can fill it up! ~ Charles Dickens (1812-1870)
