Heidi Joy Bragg Persinger, age 37, formerly of Jumping Branch, currently residing in Rock Hill, S.C., passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2014, in Monroe County, N.C., from injuries sustained in an ATV accident. Born on December 8, 1976, in Hinton, W.Va., she was the daughter of Glen and Rita M. Ellis Bragg of  White Oak, W.Va. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dillard Earl “Dewey” Persinger, by a sister Lisa Denise Bragg. Other than her parents, she is survived by her two sons, Devin E. Hamp of Rock Hill, and James Persinger of Rock Hill; sisters, Angela  Helton and her husband William of Rock Hill, and Jessica R. McKinney of Shady Spring; nephews, Robert James Helton, of Rock Hill, John R. McKinney of Shady Spring; a host of extended family and friends. Services will be held at noon on Friday, January, 17, 2014, at the Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home Shady Spring Chapel, with Rev. Orville Setliff officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, Beckley. Friends may gather with the family from 10 a.m. until service time on Friday at the funeral home.
