I have known Helen for many, many years through the various groups that we are both associated with. She was a true friend. She had such a wit and very dry sense of humor. I loved hearing about all her adventures with other various friends we shared. She was always good for a good book title or movie to see. She was so excited for me due to my upcoming work retirement on 12/31/20. The last year of my job she helped me count down the months, weeks and days. It meant so much to have a friend like her, in my corner and celebrating with me. She was so active with all the volunteer jobs she did from J.D. MacArthur Beach State Park to Kravis Center. We shared many wildlife stories as it was something we shared. I miss you, Helen. Rest in Peace, my friend.

I first met Helen about 15 years ago when i first started coming to Florida. I would come only once a year and Pat would invite me to Dining Out. I was really a like newcomer every year but each time, Helen always made me feel welcome, like I was an old friend. Our friendship continued for the past 10 years when I started coming as a snowbird. I will miss her friendship.

Helen was a very kind person, behind a slightly gruff manner. She had an excellent, dry sense of humor which showed itself in her sometimes pithy comments! She was a great supporter of Book Club and Dining Out, and we will all miss her very much.

Helen was always doing nice things for people. When I had a hip replacement years ago, she was the one who told me she was taking me to the hospital that morning at 6am. She even stayed around to talk to the doctor afterwards. When I was in rehab she and our friend Louise used to always visit me and bring lunch. She was a very good friend to her golfing buddy June, and would take her out when she no longer drove. She loved to volunteer, and was active at Lake Worth Playhouse and Palm Beach Dramaworks, as well as driving the trolley at MacArthur State Park. She was always quick to help a friend in need. There is truly a big hole in our lives now with her passing.

I met Helen about 3 years ago through the Dining Out group. She was so easy to talk to and made me feel at ease as a "new-comer". I loved her sense of humor! I have a feeling she is soaring through the universe and having a great time! Bless you, Helen!

I first met Helen when I was a provisional member in the Dining Out Club, I'm not sure if my status has changed but needless to say that is where we first met. We clicked immediately and had many many laughs together. Turns out we were from the same town in upstate New York! It became my mission to get a good belly laugh out of Helen which I managed to do several times and of course she reciprocated and kept me laughing with her dry wit and marvelous humor. We were scheduled to have lunch recently but unfortunately that didn't happen. I miss you Helen and I know you are now enjoying total peace, bliss and eternal love.

A few years ago, Helen took my Mom( about 90 at the time) for a driving tour all over Riviera Beach ocean side since Mom didn't remember seeing it. This was just an extremely kind thing for her to do. Helen was just a kind, unselfish, thoughtful, caring person and I will miss her. I love the picture of my dog Brandy kissing her!
