This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Helen Donnelly, 91 years old, born on February 4, 1921, and passed away on June 10, 2012. We will remember her forever.
Seven years has passed and I still wish I could pick up the phone and call you. The good news now is I finally have a Grandson. Philip James Blaisdell. He was born August 22, 2018. Charlie let me pick his middle name and I picked James. That name has been in our family throughout the years. I've been thinking about taking up crossword puzzles...….but I'd need you to help me with the hard words. Love you, Maureen
Hi Helen! OMG it has been six years already. Dottie's coming up on her 90th birthday, the McCabes are making babies, the Doherty/Fehers are coming up to visit next month, Mary is trying to save democracy, and I am practicing my agronomy specialty, pulling weeds. Keep an eye open for Moxie up there, she's looking for you. We miss you and love you very much.
Happy Birthday Helen! Sure wish you could watch the AKC Show going on in our home right now. I remember how much you enjoyed the dogs and right now we have a great dane puppy bouncing off the walls. We love and miss you.
Happy 97th Birthday Helen. I wish I could pick up the phone to call you. I miss our conversations especially when we discussed world politics. I hope you're still doing crossword puzzles in heaven. Love always, Maureen Duso
Happy Belated Birthday Helen - The world has changed so much since you have been gone. Not really for the better either. Life in Florida is going well for Richard and I. Our Children and Grandchildren are all doing very well. I still miss you a lot. Love you always...... Maureen
Hi Helen! It's been 5 years now! You'd be a great, great Aunt now with Katie's Madi and Kara's Russell. Dot's doing fine and Mary says hello. You'd be at your wit's end if you were in your condo watching POTUS 45. It's like watching a train wreck. Also, Dr Oz is still promoting his quack nostrums. Doctors say he's a charlatan and want him removed from Columbia facility. I ate a can of sardines in your honor - not sure I'll want another one for at least a year :>) Your are loved and missed by us all.
Hi Helen, You'll be pleased to hear that greedy super PACs drained the Tea Party movement with endless pleas for money to support “conservative” candidates—while instead using the money to enrich themselves. But, you will be horrified to learn that Donald Trump has been elected President! At least YOU can rest in peace. Love and miss you.
Helen was my godmother and her first cousin, James W. Hurd (shown in photo) was my godfather (1940). I always had the greatest respect for each of them throughout my life. They were very beautiful people. Jean (Blaisdell) Russo.
We miss you, Helen! We have been sharing our cherished memories that you have provided us, which has all your friends at Oceans Seven smiling and filling the air with laughter. I personally will take this life lesson with me wherever I go, “If you can’t dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with blarney.” With eternal love, Dana and your Oceans Seven family
I surely will miss Helen. She has been an important part of my entire life. I have fond memories of spending time with Helen, Dot and Bertha at their home on Phillips Ave in Lynn, Ma as a child. As an adult Helen and I shared many good times together. Especially the Rod Stewert Concert! I know she is in heaven and at peace now. Love, Maureen
I worked at Dr. Harrell's dental office and Miss Donnelly was one of my favorite patients! She was so sweet and sassy and I loved talking with her. She will be missed dearly! I love her.
