ForeverMissed

Family meant everything to Helen.  She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and business woman.  Helen never missed a single event that her children or grandchildren were a part of.  She served as treasurer for the Clearview Marching Band for several years, while her children were involved.  And she made it a point to attend every dance recital, sporting event, and awards ceremony for her grandchildren.  Helen worked alongside her husband, Warren, while he had a heating and service company.  That business later turned into Warren’s Hardware, where she always greeted everyone at the door with a friendly smile.

Helen had several loves in her life, besides her family.  One of her favorite things in the world was to go shopping, but never really buying anything for herself, only for others.  She was a die-hard Phillies and Eagles fan, never missing a game on TV, even if they lost.  To her, nothing was better than homemade meatloaf and mashed potatoes for dinner, but if she went out, she would always order crab cakes.  And, Helen absolutely had to have her morning coffee, in which she would dunk cookies.  Her favorite place in the world was gazing out over the water, whether it was at the beach, or looking out over Black Lake in New York, which she called “her ocean.”
