Cheryl & I went to the G&R Grill in Waldo today to remember Helen and how she and Cliff loved to make the trip there for a fried bologna sandwich and share one beer between them. We miss them greatly and think of them almost every day as they were so much a part of our lives. We still see them nearly everywhere we go (as, greatfully, they were usually with us).

I also have songs that I associate with grandma and my childhood. Picking Up Paw Paws and Swim Little Fishies are the two that make me smile:)
 

I was going about my day today when I realized i had been singing a song in my head for a while. it was a song that grandma sang to us when we were young. "Show me the way to go home. I'm tired and i want to go to bed. i had a drink of water 'bout an hour ago and it went straight to my head. No matter where i roam, near land or sea or foam, you can always hear me singing the song show me the way to go home." ;-) this made me smile.
