Time hasn’t made this easier, it’s actually allowed reality to set in. I’ll never get over not having you here. I wish I could have kept you forever but you had to go. There’s nothing I wouldn’t give to see your face again and hear your voice❤️ I find peace in knowing you didn’t suffer long and you’re no longer suffering. Things have changed since you left us. Some bonds got stronger and others are slowly but surely drifting away. Like we’ve always said you can’t fight fate. You watched me take my first breath and I you’re last. You were and always will be more than all heart and soul. The strongest love I’ve ever felt. I live on this earth wishing for “one more”, “one more” of everything that came from you. I so look forward to your embrace when we meet again.

January 30, 2019

so I went to visit my grandmother on my day off and we went to the bank. When we were leaving the parking lot we saw some wild turkeys and Doe wanted to get out to grab one. He jumped out and went after them and my Memal yelled put the window "they're gon get yo assssss" my son fell out laughing. We cracked up. She loved to tell people the story and her accent made it even funnier.
