This morning I spoke up with you on my mind the other day I decided to start crocheting took a  picture put it  on Facebook  Andre reminded me of how you used to crochet and how you sat in  that chair in  front of the sewing machine keeping an eye on what's going on in that living room you was such a good mom and the thing about it was I just telling Darrell that same story you left such a good impression on people it's amazing that over 40 years ago Andre would  remember something like he also said your mother taught you a lot of things

My Mom  called me on Wednesday afternoon and said Jean I'm coming to your house for the weekend she caught me by surprise my mom never spends the night at anybody house that weekend we talked she shared family secrets with me told me how proud she was of me even told me she loved me we always knew we were lovers but we never talked like that in my house I do remember one Valentine Day she went out and bought all of us red hearts and gave  them to me and all of my sisters she always said you don't have to talk  love you show love
