Over the years for our family, February 14th became synonymous to Helen's birthday. Valentines Day was second to remembering Helen's birthday. It was fitting that a day devoted to love, kindness, and caring was also the day Helen was born. She epitomized all of the wonderful characteristics of the holiday and it was so appropriate that a day devoted to such wonderful traits was the day of Helen's birth. Always, on February 14th, my thoughts will go to Helen and the special memories we made. We miss you, dear friend.

To Uncle Mike and family,
I would like to extend my deepest condolences on your loss. We have nothing but the fondest memories of going to “mom mom and pop pop Riggs” house every summer to swim. I know that she enjoyed us being there as much as we enjoyed going. Her family was her entire life, we are all grateful for those summers we spent together. We are keeping you all in our prayers. Love always, Payne Family (Donna, John, Sam, Melissa, and zack)

I am a friend of the family and I am thankful for all of the times I was fortunate to talk with Mom-Mom. She always looked gorgeous with her hair and nails done and make-up just perfect. The last memory that sticks out in my mind was when she went swimming in Mexico while we were at her granddaughters (Greta’s) wedding! We were sailing on a catamaran and we docked and everyone got out to swim. She had the biggest smile on her face the whole time...she had the time of her life! She will be greatly missed, however now she will be able to dance forever

I was so fortunate to have Helen as a friend and co-worker. She was always so very kind, pleasant, and ready to share with those around her! She touched our lives in so many ways. She will missed by her loving family and many friends!

If we are lucky, we have the wonderful experience of meeting a very special person during our life. George and I were blessed when Helen Riggs entered our lives and doubly blessed when she became our friend. She had an impact on us that cannot be described in words but we felt it as long as we were friends. She will be missed by many, definitely by us. Rest in peace, dear friend. You will not be forgotten.
