Missing you Jackie. Wish I could have been there in person to say my good-byes.  I know you are watching out for all of us kids and grand kids and great grand kids.

It's been a year already & there isn't a day that I don't think about you. The laughter and joy of being in your presence & the care you showed all of us that flocked around you. You were a joy to be around & to learn from... .

I thought of you today, but that is nothing new. I thought about you yesterday and days before that too. I think of you in silence, I often speak of your name. All I have are memories and a picture in a frame. Your memory is a keepsake from which I'll never part. God has you in His arms, I have you in my heart.

Dear Mommie... You have always took pride in being a Mom, I believe that was your favorite thing in life. You sacrificed and gave so much of yourself so that we never ever went without. We all have the best childhoods any child would want. You are and will always be our hero, our teacher, our loving Mom forever and always. Your lovely legacy and traditions will be carried on always. Love you and miss you deeply Mommie.

Dear Grandma,
 I love you so dearly. I really enjoyed the time that I spent with you. You were such a great person and I will never forget you. Grandma even though I didnt get to soend as much time with you as i would have liked the time we did have was AMAZING thank you for all the wonderful memories and say hi to my daddy for me love you lots and missing you already

God saw you getting tired, and a cure was not to be, so He put his arms around you, and whispered "Come to Me" with tearful eyes we watched you suffer, and saw you fall away.

Although we couldn't bear to lose you we could not ask you to stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands laid to rest.

God broke our hearts to prove to us, that He only takes the BEST.

Within my book of memories
are special thoughts of you
and all the evidence of glorious things
which, because of you, came true.

As I turn back the pages of memories
and recall each single thought,
I realize the happiness and pleasure
that knowing you has brought.

There are memories of the times
we've shared both bright and gloomy days
there are memories of your kindness
and your friendly, thoughtful ways.

There are memories of your laughter,
your gay and cheery smile
that added a bright note to each of us
and made life more worthwhile.

There are memories of the things
we planned each friendly little chat,
when we would get together
and just talk of this and that.

And when I recall these memories
as I move along life's way
they grow more precious and blessed
with every passing day.

You were a second mother too so many, the first in the neighborhood to have cable tv, my first trip to the Orange County Fair, even though we didn't make it. The house where everyone was welcomed, I'm glad God allowed me to be a part of your life for over forty five years.... I will miss you dearly...
