Dear Barr. Mrs. Y. Odi-Thomas and Family, please accept my heartfelt condolences on the death of your beloved Father, he was a great man and Patriarch of the Family he left behind. His goodwill and enormous legacies will continue to be remembered by his loved ones. We should take solace in the Words of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ when He said that ‘those who believe in Him will never die but shall come to eternal life’. Daddy is with the Lord now, may his gentle soul continue rest in the boson of our Lord.

Daddy Asaba, you were such a great father to even us that weren't your biological children. You sat and chatted with me whenever I visited, dishing out good advice and words of wisdom.Your warm character and kindness will never be forgotten. Rest in the bossom of the lord dad.

Although i never met you in person, but i see and know you through one of your lovely daughters, Barrister (Mrs.) Yvonne Odu-Thomas. Through her i can categorically say that you were a disciplinarian, upright, lover of justice, and a carrier of love.
A great soul never dies. It shines on through those left behind to carry on the sweetness it carried. I know that you are in heaven, pouring out your love on everyone. You are now one of the guardian angels. Life is eternal, and love is immortal, death is only a horizon. Your physical presence will sorely be missed. Rest on, in the bosom of our Lord.
