The story of my Father, Henry Harris, Jr.

Henry Harris, Jr was born on November 26, 1929 in Memphis, TN., his mother proceeded him in passing and was raised by his grandmother, Henry graduated from Greenwood Grade School and Hamilton High School, in 1951 he was drafted into the US Army and served his country until December of 1952.
Henry relocated to Chicago, IL in June of 1953 and began employment with Cedar Dracket Company, while employed with Cedar, he met the love of his life, Mary Elizabeth Martin, June 19, 1954 they wed in holy matrimony, during the marriage, two children came into the world, one son, Myron Erick Harris, one daughter, Cloressa Andrea Harris, their marriage last for 60 years!
September of 1969, Henry began his employment with Illinois Bell Telephone Company until his retirement on December 26, 1992.
Henry was diagnosed with Alheimer's Disease and battled with the illness for ten years, his wife stood by his side every step of the way, on September 4, 2014, Henry made his transition to his next life experience, he leaves his wife, Mary Elizabeth Harris and two children, Myron Erick Harris and Cloressa Andrea Harris to cherish his legacy and memories!
