His Life

He was born January 27, 1936 in Stewart County, GA and was the son of the late Eddie B., Sr. and Eva John Mills. He was educated in the Stewart County Schools, and was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean War. He was employed as a truck driver with Swift Spinning Mills; a mechanic with Bailey and Whittaker, and was retired following 16 years as a diesel mechanic with Vulcan Material Company. 

Mr. Mills was a member of St. Phillip Methodist Church in Stewart County, and had reaffirmed his faith at the Word of Revelation Ministries in Columbus. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mrs. Mary Senior Mills. 

Survivors include: his children, Brian Mills, Melissa Mill, Jeffrey Mills, Jacqueline Harris (Oscar), Henry Lee Mills, Jr., Winifred Smalls (Robert), Ronald Lamar Mills, Tammy Birris-Mayo, and Lucina Tate; fifteen grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren; five siblings, Eddie B. Mills, Jr., Billy Mills (Jeannie), Elzra Porter, Annie Lois McLester and Willie Kate Evans; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
