Henry Morgan was born September 12, 1917 in Tallapoosa County to the late Dora Morgan.

Henry was a faithful member of Sardis Missionary Baptist Church where he served until his health failed.

After moving to New York City in 1941, Henry succeeded in various careers. He was a custodian for the New York City Board of Education for over 30 years. Retired in 1990 and moved back to Dadeville, Alabama. He was employed with Tallapoosa County Board of Education for 10 years.

On September 30, 1991 he was united in holy matrimony to Sarah Morgan.
