Mr. Henry Ray (Pookey) Jones was sixth child born to the late Hosie and Verna Jones in Dadeville, Alabama on October 15, 1952.

He confessed Christ at an early age. He united with All Nation Pentecostal Holinesss Church.

Henry departed this life on July 15, 2013 surrounded by his loved ones. He was preceded in death by his parents Hosie and Verna Jones, five brothers, Hosie Lee, Willie Frank, Nathaniel, Robert Eddie Jones and one sister, Martha Cox.

He leaves to mourn his passing: a wife, Janet Jones of Dadeville, Alabama; two sisters, Mary C. Jones of Dadeville, Alabama, Edith Billingsley of Lanett, Alabama; one brother, Michael Jones of Dadeville, Alabama; one brother-in-law, Bobby Cox of Dadeville, Ala­ bama; one sister-in-law, Mary Willie Jones of
Dadeville, Alabama; two aunts, Mary Rainey and
Patricia (John) Colbert of Columbus, Georgia; five step-children, Ronnie (Linda) Rowe, Kim Pearson of Dadeville, Alabama, bridge! Pearson, Beverly (Richard) Price of Alexander City, Ala­ bama, Leonard (Carmon) Rowe of Jacksonville, North Carolina; fifteen grandchildren; four great­ grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, rel­ atives and friends. Special friend, Jimmy Rowe and a special cousin, Marcus Boyd.
