Herman Robinson, Sr. was born January 16, 1947 to the late Herman Robinson, Sr. and the late Louise H. Robinson. He was the second oldest of ten children; two preceded him in death, Josephine and Gary Robinson. He attended school in Meriwether County. He ran to Christ at an early age. He started to work at William L. Bonnell in Newnan, Georgia and later worked for the Dobbs Logging Company for thirty-five years as a loyal, dedicated and dependable employee. He loved to work on and build old cars and trucks. He enjoyed helping others whenever and however he could.

Herman was a wonderful father, grandfather and brother.

He leaves to cherish his memories, two sons, Christopher (Cheryl) Robinson of Luthersville, GA, and Rodney (Pam) Robinson; a very special nephew, Maeso (Bellie) Robinson of Greenville, GA; siblings, Martha Jean Phillip of Stockbridge, GA, Loretta Hardaway of Newnan, GA, Joseph Robinson of Greenville, GA, Minister Alma and Willie Foster of Jonesboro, GA, Carolyn Amey (Joel) of Sharpsburg, GA, William L. (Deobrah) Robinson of Greenville, GA, Ronald G. (Mattie) Robinson of Greenville, GA, twelve grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren; a host of special friends; three aunts, Shirley Ford, Agnes and James Mapp, Cora Hayes, and Girlee Travis; one uncle, Mack Arthur Perry; a special friend, Louise Bussey; two Godchildren, Tiffany and Stacey.
