Hilda Grace Ferrell, 82, of Bullock, NC died on May 2, 2014.  A native of Durham, Mrs. Ferrell was born on October 30, 1931 to the late Winston and Anna Ives.  She and her late husband, Andy Ferrell, owned and operated Denson Printing Company in Durham for many years.  A talented quilter and excellent cook, she enjoyed crafts of many kinds, and she and her husband also loved entertaining at their home on Kerr Lake.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Jackie Walters and Pauline Morris, and son, Dennis Ferrell.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law Jane and Jim Welch of Raleigh and Atlanta, grandchildren Elizabeth Hines of Los Angeles, California; and Andrew and Dennis Ferrell of Bullock.

The service will be at 11 A.M. on Friday May 9th at Stovall UMC with Rev. John W. Younts officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Durham.   Visitation will be held on Thursday May 8th from 6:00 - 7:30 P.M. at Stovall Methodist Church.
