Hi Dad,

A girls first love truly is her Father and you remain mine. Happy Birthday in heaven Kamasasa King. We are all doing good. We all came through alright this year. Big news is that the brothers are stronger and I know you are smiling proud. You loved, guided and mentored them. The Kargbo girls are also strong. Grandkids and great grand kids are fine.

I miss your guidance but family and some really great people really step up to help me. I also met Amber Heard, Idi Amin Dada, Adolf Hitler, Mobutu, Samuel Doe)… okay I’ll stop making you laugh - but more great people.

Tell God thank you so much for always loving and caring for me and the kids.

I had the privilege of knowing Ambassador Kargbo when he was here in the U.S. from 1993-1996. Yesterday I was walking in my neighborhood and I stopped to talk with a neighbor who was mowing his lawn and whom I had not met.  I found out he was from Sierra Leone and I told him that I had known one of the ambassadors from Sierra Leone. He asked me his name and I told him. Today I decided to see if I could find out where he was and I happened on this memorial website. I enjoyed all the interactions I had with him and am thankful for his memory. May the Lord richly bless all those whom he left behind.

RIP Dad. You died 4 years ago on 16 May 2016. I am honored to be an offspring/child of the most beautiful love story ever seen, in the one you had with Mum. I'm sure you welcomed her yesterday as we laid her to rest for eternity.  She looked so beautiful. So alone right now. Feeling empty and drained.

Remembering this distinguished man and his dear wife, Aminata, who has now joined him.  They were an inspiration and great contributors to the well being of humanity on this planet. And welcomed with open arms into the Heavenly Kingdom, I'm sure.

Happy 79th anniversary, Doc. You may be physically gone, but never forgotten, because your spirit lives on. Words can't express your deeds and influence in the lives of so many. I will never forget the day you first tested my knowledge in Chemistry, few minutes after I had shown you my GCE O'Level results. We ended up discussing the Periodic Table and more. I had come to you for help, and it was a way of finding out whether I deserved that help. Not only did you help me, but you embraced me with the warmth of love that gave me the best possible start and confidence in life - education. Doc, there is no doubt that you helped so many people, whether within the family or outside of it. You were the REAL role model I was looking for. You made such an impact in the lives of so many, that you will never be forgotten - your legacy lives on. Though, you may be gone, your spirit and works will live on in us forever!! Happy 79th anniversary,.May your soul rest in perfect peace forever, BEAUTIFUL one.

Worked with Dr Tom Kargbo at Netland Hospital and was very impressed with his humility. He never put money before his patients and he was a people's person. He had a quirky sense of humor and once TK is on duty, there's nothing but laughter. He helped so many women during delivery and not once did he worry about being paid. May his soul rest in perfect peace and may you have grace to carry on, and may you be comforted at this time of mourning the loss of a great man.

Hello Kahota, first of all, my condolences for the death of uncle Tom. However, I am so happy to hear from you. It's been a long time. But the fact is that I can't still believe that Doc. is gone. He's left a void that can never be filled. People like him come once in a million years. It will be difficult to encounter someone like him again - whether within the family or outside it. He was a man amongst men. I grew up searching for a REAL model. I found that person in him - and what a REAL model he was! Doc was non-discriminatory, polite, kind, honest, and always watching our backs. He never disappointed anyone he thought truly deserved his gracious helping hand. How many people have all these attributes put together? But, beside any GREAT man, there is a GREAT woman. The GREAT woman behind Dr Thom Kargbo was Mrs Aminata Kargbo. She not only looked after Doc as a TRUSTED confidant and overseer, she PROVIDED THE IDEAL ENVIRONMENT for all of us to thrive in our individual ways. I am praying fervently that she holds up and gets well. She is one MIGHTY woman. Please extend my SINCERE condolences to her for me.

Doc was a different breed. But now that he is gone, the onus is on all of of us to carry on his LEGACY whenever we can. MAY HIS SOUL REST IN PERFECT PEACE FOREVER.

I may not be with you right now, but my heart is with you. Hope to see you all soon. May GOOD LORD BLESS YOU ALL.
