 Mr. Hobart Baswell 87, of LaFayette, Alabama died Tuesday April 18, 2017 at his  residence.

Graveside services will be held Thursday April 20, 2017 at 1 PM at the LaFayette City Cemetery with Mr. Tony Oliver and Rev. Mark McGee officiating.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 12 Noon until 1 PM prior to the graveside.

I will always remember Mr. Hobart in his State Trooper uniform. He was very stern but fair whenever he pulled me over! He became a friend over the years that I admired. I extend my sincerest condolences to his entire family but especially to Barbara. My God give you strength, courage, and peace in the days and weeks ahead. -- Kenneth R.
