i miss you granddaddy
Holmes, Mr. Tommie Lee, 79, of Bullock County, Alabama transitioned into eternal rest Thursday, January 8, 2015.
A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. from the sanctuary of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. James N. Robbins, Sr., Pastor, officiating.
Interment will follow in the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church cemetery.
Visitation will be held Friday, January 16, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Carter Funeral Home.
The staff of Carter Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of the late Mr. Tommie Lee Holmes and join the family in an extreme expression of gratitude for the care and support extended to them during the illness and demise of their precious loved one.

My deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Tommie Lee Holmes. May you find comfort in knowing our Heavenly Father holds out the hope of the resurrection for our dead loved ones. His son, Jesus, said "all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". John 5:28,29. Our loved ones are in God's memory and one day he will resurrect them to a paradise earth. Psalm 37:9,10,11,29. Job 15:13-15 says he has a yearning to do so. Isn't that comforting to know? Revelation 21:3,4 says that one day on this earth, death will be no more, neither will pain or mourning be any more.
