I will never forget my conversation with Holt about going to Ireland. He really surprised me with all the wonderful things we talked about. God Bless him in heaven and his family her on earth. Fly free Holt.

It was such a privilege to care for Holt but more importantly to have the opportunity to know him. I do believe that I’ve never known anyone that tolerated so much to live. He had strength that I will never know. So sad for the Brinson family. May you have the peace that Holt now knows.

Holt was a determined, fierce and funny soul. His knowledge of sports could only be matched by his brother's! He knew exactly what he wanted to accomplish and how it should be done. He touched many of our lives and left an imprint on our hearts. His absence is truly felt and his legacy will last a lifetime. The world will not be the same without him in it...but there's no doubt that because of him, the sky will be brighter. God Bless You, Holt and The Brinson Family. Our hearts and prayers are always with you.

For the short time I had the honor of taking care of him he always put a smile on my face. Holt was kindhearted, funny, smart, and all around a genuine person. Even if he wasn’t having the best of days he would always crack a joke. He always made a negative situation a positive one. Holt loved his friends and family. He will truly be missed and forever in my heart.

Holt was such a strong person and I am so lucky to have had the opportunity to be one of his past nurses. He had such a great sense of humor and even on his bad days I could usually get a smile from him. He used to make fun of me for liking baseball (said he’d rather watch paint dry)! To Holt’s family, I am praying for strength and healing as you go down this road. You have so many wonderful things to remember!

Enjoyed watching football with him. Glad he got to see Clemson win a national championship before he had to go.

Hi Sandy, I am so very sorry for your family's loss. I was heartbroken to hear of Holt's passing. Both Holt and Zane hold a special place in my heart, and i'm so happy I had the opportunity to take care of them. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. One of my favorite memories of Holt are the many conversations we had about our favorite TV program Homeland. Every Monday we would discuss what happened on the show. Every time I watch the show I will think about Holt! Much love, Karen
