I miss you Pappy and I still think of you everyday. I miss the times we went fishing, bowling, and golfing. I also miss the things you told me about WWII and the time you spent on the USS Wichita CA-45.

MY FATHER WAS A GOOD MAN, NOT SO EASY TO GET ALONG WITH AT TIMES , WORKED HARD , WAS A GOOD FATHER , I STILL MISS THE GOOD TIMES WE HAD AND THE LAUGHTER AND STORIES ,HE NEVER TALKED ABOUT THE WAR, BUT I KNEW IT WAS HARD FOR HIM, LOVED HIS GRAND CHILDREN VERY MUCH
