Hope Mendoza DeLeon

 On December 21, 2018 at 7:15 p.m God called Esperanza “Hope” Mendoza DeLeon home. Esperanza “Hope” DeLeon from Delano, California was 66, at the time of her passing.

Visitation will be on January 8, 2019 at Parkview Mortuary from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. The Rosary will start at 5:30 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m on January 9, in Delano, California at St. Mary’s church with father Lori Pilones officiating. Burial will follow at Delano Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. Arrangements are by Parkview Mortuary.
Esperanza “Hope” Mendoza DeLeon was born in Delano, California to Alex and Lupe Mendoza on August 27, 1952. She attended elementary and high school in Delano. She graduated from Delano High School in 1970. Hope married Rene DeLeon of Edinburgh, Texas on January 17, 1971 in Delano. Hope worked as an instructional aide for Richgrove Elementary School District for over forty-years where she earned multiple accolades for her tireless dedication to her students.
Esperanza “Hope” Mendoza DeLeon is preceded in death by her loving father Alex Mendoza, and her sister Cindy Mendoza.
Esperanza “Hope” Mendoza DeLeon is survived by her loving spouse of forty-eight years Rene Deleon, her daughter Ramona Alicia DeLeon, her sons Rene Martin DeLeon Jr, and Robert Edward DeLeon. Mother Lupe Mendoza, Sister Rachel Perez-Leon. Grandchildren: Marc Anthony DeLeon, Giselle Acosta, Dezarae Renay DeLeon, Destiny DeLeon, Briana DeLeon, Crystal Deleon, Robert L. DeLeon, and Robert Alex Chavez.
Pallbearers will be Rene DeLeon Jr, Ernie Perez-Leon Jr, Christopher Perez-Leon, Marc DeLeon, Robert Alex Chavez and William Ruiz.
The family of Esperanza “Hope” Mendoza DeLeon wish to extend our sincere thanks to Memorial Hospital for their great compassion and care, the Perez-Leon family Ruiz Family, Vaughan family, Pedro Segura, Grandma Lupe Mendoza and the teachers and administration of Thomas Jefferson Middle School in Wasco, California for helping us through this difficult time.
