This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Horace Johnston, 91 years old, born on March 23, 1925, and passed away on May 15, 2016. We will remember him forever.
You may be gone from our sight... but you are never gone from our hearts... Memories of you will forever live on...“A legacy is etched into the hearts of others and the stories they share of you... " Keep on smiling...
those we love don't go away.. they walk beside us every day.. unseen, unheard, but always loved... still missed and very dear...
Death is the heartache no one can heal, Memories are keepsakes no one can steal.
Beautiful memories are all we have left, Of the ones we loved and will never forget.
Softly the leaves of memory fall, Gently we gather and cherish them all.
Planted deep in memory's garden And watered daily with tears,
Memory has a magical way Of keeping loved ones near.
Dad i will always love you... Shantee

Horace was so selfless and generous that even in the twilight of his life,
he was always willing to lend a helping hand.
Always wanting to know "what can i get you? Can i get you something to eat,can i get you something to drink?" and will always have some little token to give.
He always greeted with such a welcoming smile, eyes full of love and a warm embrace, that there was never any doubt of his love and appreciation.
He truly was a gem
He has touched the lives of so many
It always was a pleasure to be around him.
Wish i had met him earlier in life, but thank God for the blessing of knowing him.
A candle may melt and its fire may die.
But his love will always stay as a flame in my heart.
he was always willing to lend a helping hand.
