There are so many joyous memories of Howard. He was always cheerful, and his outspokeness was a great part of his charm. It was a delight to be in his company. And I love the way he gave everyone a nickname. He made everyone feel special. I will truly miss him. (Until we meet again... Both Howard and Ruth were our very special friends...not only friends, but Dad and Mom to us. Most of my fondest memories of my youth include Howard.

What an impact both he and Ruth made on my life... I know he was a grandpa to many of us and certainly to me. I'll always remember his wisecracks from the stage and his true love for all of us. He helped my parents during a difficult time and thereby gave me so many great memories...and soon one day many more... My prayers and heart go out to all of you...

Great grandpa

August 6, 2012
I always to to love the songs you used to sing to us girls " around the corner and under the breeze the girl of major made love to me she kissed me once she kissed me twice it wasn't just the thing to do but gosh it was awful nice around the corner". I love you papa I also used to love when you would say " you don't need to kiss any boys you can kiss me" I love you so much and will always miss you and going to the kingdom hall with you I will make you prouder than ever.

My Grandpa...

August 3, 2012

Many of you that knew him well probably had a nickname he gave you and he probably called you from the platform at the Rosemead Kingdom hall by that nickname. As you might remember or know I was pumpkin and the great granddaughters were lil pumpkins.
Howard and Ruth were loved by many and they had many many friends from everywhere from Cailfornia to Missori to New Mexico and most recently Virgina. It's hard for me to express my love for him using just mere words. But he will be truly missed.
