GLOBE, AZ - Howard Day, 66, of Globe, AZ, passed away on June 13, 2017 at Cobre Valley Regional Hospital in Globe, Arizona with the love of his life being present. Howard Day was born in Oakland, CA to Alfred Day Jr. and Theresa Kamb Day on September 2, 1950. He is a graduate of Hampton High School and attended Electrical Apprenticeship School. He worked as an Electrical Wireman/Welder and was a proud member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) for 45 yrs. At the time of Howard's passing he was campaigning to be IBEW L.U. 518's Business Agent. He was also a member of Bethany United Methodist Church in Hayes, VA. Howard is preceded in death by Theresa Kamb Day and Alfred P. Day Jr. of Williamsburg, VA. Howard is survived by his Fiancé' Cynthia Moore of Globe, AZ, his son Shaun H. Day and daughter-in-law Lauren Day of Phoenixville, PA, daughter Angela Day Waliszewski (Jacek) of Colorado Springs, CO, brother Larry Day (Sybille) of Yorktown, VA, sister Paula Nieto (David) of Williamsburg, VA, sister Linda Day Maines (David) of Charles City, VA, and his grandchildren Aiden and Harrison Waliszewski and Addison and Liam Day. The Fiancé of Howard Day wishes to extend their sincere thanks to the IBEW Brotherhood that was his second family, and to all his friends over the years.

Whow I just found out, I worked with howard on several jobs, in and out a town, he was a friend, great tool buddy, teriffic union brother, he will be missed by all.
Howard I pray we will meet again in heaven, rest in peace.

I have no picture to share, just proof positive, Only The Good Die Young! Sometimes we ask ourselves, why did this happen, but we need to remember the scriptures where GOD had said, don't put a question mark where I have put a period! It has been a pleasure knowing you. Although you were in our lives for a short while. We were so blessed to have met you & your sweetheart Cynthia. Thank you for giving your heart and soul to this town & this Local that you so longed to call home. Rest well Howard!!! Howard.. known by many and loved by all.. every person that crossed your path was touched in some way by you. You were and still are a certain type of special .. NO ONE... will ever forget Brother Howard... and I will never forget you or stop loving you.. we had our plans to get married but The Good Lord felt that it was time for you to go home...and home you went. I pray you Rest In Peace and know you are loved not only by me but others as well.. God Speed my love..
