Mr. Webb was born in Old Columbia, Alabama, on Saturday, August 27, 1927, the son of the late Jeptha and Dora Cantrell Webb. He attended Old Columbia School and retired from Lanett Mill, West Point Pepperell, with 44 years of service. Mr. Webb was active in his church until his health declined. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Mr. Webb loved Scouting after his wife and God, and was awarded the Silver Beaver.

Survivors include his wife Geneva “Maw Maw” Webb; his daughters, Judy Watts, of Lanett, Debra (Robert) Eason of West Point and Lisa (Randy) Webb of LaGrange; his sons, Lee Webb (Margaret) of Valley and Danny (Gail) Webb of West Point; his sister, Lou Toole of Smiths; 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
