Howie the Prostate is survived by his grieving owner, a loving spouse, and two beautiful children. After enduring multiple illnesses over the past fifteen years, Howie was diagnosed with cancer in July of this year. It was eventually determined that the progression of the disease would have eventually led to a multiplication of adverse possibilities. After several lengthy consultations with Howie's medical team, it was decided that euthanasia would be the best route for him. Howie stoically accepted the decision as being in "his" best interests and made no objections.

His remains have been donated to science for the purpose of medical research. We know he would have wanted it that way.
