So sorry to find out that Mr. Bell has passed. He taught my son at St. Paul's Catholic School. I last saw him at a senior event, out on the dance floor. He was a smart dresser. I pray that he will rest in peace!
Mr. Bell, there are so many words to describe much man as you, your son really gave an outstanding eulogy and his words was of you a Good & Faithful Servant of God. I have so many fond memories of you from Carver and I will always cherish those memories. Thanks for being sympathetic man in my life and so many others. Keep smiling!
I was a student at West End High School during a very difficult time of protests. Mr. Bell was a great teacher who taught and encouraged us to focus on our education while maintaining a positive behavior at all costs. I believe he taught us Character Development at his doorway as well as inside his Science Classroom. Mr Bell will remain in our hearts. God bless his wife, children, and the rest of us as we go through this journey of grief and loss.
I.C. Bell was a brother to me. I learn a lot from him. He was well liked and well love to everyone who knew him. He will be missed. May you Rest In Peace.
Aretha Michelle Riley McGraw Class of 1982 He came to my classroom when I taught at Parker. I had just come back from military duty and did not have a chance to set up my bulletin boards. I was sooooooooo embarrassed, but the look on his face was sheer pride. Proud that one of his Carver Ram students is now an educator for God's children. I will surely miss him and his kind and encouraging smile. Love, respect, and adore you Mr. IC Bell!
Class of 1984, Mr Bell as I recall, was a Stella leader, he cared about students and had free course to get in our grill if need be, and parents then didn't come and shoot up the school. Then educators could teach and correct you. Mr. Bell Was a father figure, and loved his students. Thank you Mr. Bell because of you we didn't turn out bad, we've made some major accomplishments because of wonderful people like you. Rest in his peace.
Mr. I.C. Bell was my High School advisor at G.W. Carver High School. He was kind, gentle, and fair but firm man. He believed in education and God. He truly will be missed. Fatimah Farahkhan-Jones c/o '85
