I feel honoured to have known you, Ian for just over 5 years, from the first day I met you through your volunteering with keech hospice. I was the volunteer coordinator so we quickly got to know each other as you were there at every event. You could and would do anything with a smile. You soon became my right hand man, my partner at events helping me when I couldn't lift the boxes or tables, you would giggle and say, "let me do that Chrissy" we had lots of fun and laughter at all events not just smiley sam. One of my fondest memories was when we ran the kitchen at the Christmas market. Gosh we worked so hard! it was full on, but we was so thrilled that we didn't get a single complaint about anything we cooked. We made endless numbers of cakes to sell. I know how proud you were when I made you a team leader for the glow walk, it was a big event with over 50 volunteers, I was so grateful for your help coordinating. I said to you all the times we drove home completely worn out but buzzing with adrenaline, I couldn't have done it without you! I will miss you and I am kind of glad I am no longer the volunteer coordinator as I wouldn't want to do it again without you. Until we meet again my friend xx
