Tribute To Madam Ibilola Adenike Ogunnaike, MSc, FMLSCN, MAMLSN

Dear Madam, I met you in Nigerian Institute of Medical Research(NIMR), Yaba- Lagos when you were already a very senior colleague at the time I joined the service of NIMR about 25 years ago.
You demonstrated to all of us that related closely with you that hard work and thoroughness are the hallmarks of a professional that you were.
You were always ready to ensure that the best was given to your dear profession- Medical Laboratory Science.
I had the honour of working with you closely as your secretary when you were the chairman of the Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists of Nigeria (NIMR Chapter).
You were always ready to help the younger ones. You were never intimidated and always willing to pursue a goal once you were convinced about such.
Even several years after your retirement from public service in NIMR, you were always asking after our welfare and our wellbeing!
We loved you immensely because you remained one of the icons of our profession in NIMR. You left indelible positive marks on our professional and career lives as public officers.
Your departure to the eternal world at the age of 79 is indeed a Divine grace!
May you continue to be at peace with your Creator- The Almighty God- aamen.
A dieu Mama Ibilola Adenike Ogunnaike!
