The daughter of the late Millard and Lillie Jones Thomas, Mrs. Jordan was born in Cusseta, Chattahoochee County, GA on April 2, 1930. She was retired following 40 years of dedicated service from Swift Textiles, and was of Christian faith. She was preceded in death by six sisters and a brother.

Survivors include: her sons, Harold Jordan (Charlotte), Kenneth Jordan (Pamela) and Richard Jordan; seven grandchildren, Latoya King (Scott), Kiesa Tigner (Reginald), Latoya Mark, Rhonda German (Craig), Kenneth Jordan, Jr., Jakema Jordan and Chelsay Johnson; ten great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
