Mom, I still want to pick up the phone to call and tell you the latest news and goings on with your great granddaughters.! i am hoping you and Dad are now at peace and connecting with all the family and friends that welcomed you on your arrival. You were a strong, caring independent woman who was stubborn and steadfast. I like to think I inherited some of same qualities from you. These last few years was difficult for you, but somehow we could always find a laugh or something to smile about. Rest in Peace Mom and love you!
It breaks my heart to learn Auntie Ida has passed. We had such great chats. Always a big part of my life , she loved to laugh and would tell great stories. My mom was a die hard hockey fan vancouver Canucks was her favorite team. When hockey was finished she enjoyed baseball the Toronto blue jays was her team. She liked doing crosswords and reading many books. She loved to go to the mall mostly everyday do her shopping and enjoyed having coffee with her friends. She was a huge Elvis fan collected many trinkets and memorabilia of him. She was a very social butterfly enjoyed getting phone calls from family and friends. She will be so missed by many. It's hard to imagine a world without her. Love you until we meet again.
