All the morals and values you thought me has moulded me and is still moulding me for greatness.
I'm a strong man today all because of you and Jah by my side.

Thank you for coming to our Dads - Ignatius Ibegbulem Iroegbu - funeral ceremony and Mass, we really appreciate your thoughts and prayers today. I am sorry that I cannot be with you all to formally say farewell to dad, but pleased to let you know we are viewing from Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada. Where we are in another phase of lockdown to beat this horrible pandemic.

2021 will be a year that will be remembered for many reasons – but one, The year we lost our “Dear Dad and Patriarch.” I did explore all avenues to be at the interment, but regrettably and painfully so, could not make it to Dad's inhumation

I don't know how long it will take me to grieve this tremendous loss. My father was a fine soldier and a perfect gentle man in every sense of the word, his amiable character sculpt the person in me and I feel heartbroken to no longer have Dad here with us. Your memory, we will forever carry on.

I feel so blessed and grateful too, to have had as much time with my father as I did. I miss him so much already and I will forever remember having the most incredible man as my dad.

There is no greater man I will want to emulate, you declare to me I am no mistake, motivate and inspire me to be great, Daddy you are my general!

I cherish the memories I have of dad and know he is smiling down on all of us. Thank you again for coming out today to celebrate the life, time and memory of my amazing dad. I wish you all safe and peaceful journey back to your various destinations

Most importantly, I want to thank my mum for her support, love and being strong through those most trying periods of time leading to this burial rite

Daddy!! You’ve aged gracefully, but getting a call from my mom about your passing is something that hurt me so much I just can’t explain, you’ve left a void in my heart that no one can ever fill. You played the role of a dad and a grand dad and I couldn’t have asked for anyone else but you. I’ll chose you in a heartbeat in my next life. I’m blessed with all the memories I had with you. You’re literally the strongest, most loving person I know in my entire life time. You love and correct without holding back. The news of your death came a shock to me, Because just last week I & your granddaughter Lady Phine (my Sis_inlaw) had plans on how we would come over to spend the Christmas with you & your great grandkids but how could we have planned without consenting your CHI to know his will for you. My 1st encounter with Pa Ignatius was in 2017 when I visited his country home in Amakama Umuahia, His reception of me was awesome, the few days I spent in his house was a blessed moment, His smile caught me, He was so liberal,a cheerful giver,full of humility, hospitable, entertaining and not to forget his Live Roman Mass He would listen over and over again,He was a full blown Catholic & a God fearing Man. Few day with him & his lovely wife was as though I've live my entire life with them. How would i know it would be my last glimpse of you Sir?
As you've journeyed to answer God's home call, I take solace in those beautiful memories & your brilliant smiles which knew no boundaries.
