It's been long since I saw you, but I am grateful that the memories of you that I hold are those of your presence.
You went to be with the Lord too soon, how I wish I was given the time and opportunity to say goodbye, I will miss you, Daddy you live forever. My Super Hero my heart is broken. Thank you Daddy for for been my father. I love you so much and will cherish your memories.

Pa Iroegbu was a fine officer.
Patriotic to the core and so finely cut for his soldiering career you would think he had lived the role before.

A strict disciplinarian- and I admired his doggedness which inspired many of us even from a distance.

Pa you will be missed - I recall my meeting with Papa when I was just a young School leaver in Kaduna. I recall the exciting moments with Pa’s children who are my friends and family.

Looking back. We were young and adventurous - to say the least, we were stars and the rave of the moment then. You can’t imagine how hard we tried not to get into trouble with Pa Iroegbu. Even when we did, each time he returned from his official trips, he will stabilize the boys and ‘life goes on.’

Oh Pa Iroegbu is gone!!!
Sad. But God has called.
Like the soldier he was, he has obeyed God’s command - duty calls once again.

I stand with your children at this sad moment - Reginald and Ben were and still are more than friends to me. I join them in the celebration of a life spent in an exemplary manner - a life where humanity is greater than wealth.

The News of your passing came as a rude shock to me, but we cannot question God about issues like this. Sir, you were a gentleman and a loving father to your Children and to those around you. Your departure will create a vacuum that no one can fill in but we take solace in the fact that we shall meet at Jesus'feet at the resurrection. Adeui Daddy, rest well!

A gentleman soldier, a disciplinarian, known for intergrity and uprightness, we love you and we will greatly missed you, you shall be forever in our heart
