Imogene Wheeler Watson, 88, a lifetime resident of Granville County passed away Thursday, March 22, 2018 at Granville House Assisted Living in Oxford.

She was born September 28, 1929, in Granville County to the late Benjamin Elliott Wheeler and Phoebe Moss Wheeler. Imogene was a member of Hester Baptist Church and was a homemaker.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Monday, March 26, 2018 at Hester Baptist Church by Dr. Jeff Hensley. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Surviving are a daughter, Jenean Watson Puckett (Billy) of Oxford; three sons, Ricky Lyn Watson (Betty Lou), Alan Wheeler Watson (Joy), Craig Benjamin Watson (Susan), all of Oxford; four granddaughters, three grandsons and two great-grandsons. She was preceded in death by her husband, Coleman Allen Watson, two sisters and six brothers.

Visitation will be held Monday March 26, 2018 from 12:00 – 1:45 P.M. prior to the service at Hester Baptist Church.
