My dear sweet Imogin how much we all miss you. You were such a bright shinning light of love and happiness. Your sisters and I miss you talk about you everyday. When you were born that was the best day of my life. I was so proud to be your daddy. Part of my heart and soul is missing but I know one day we will be joined again.

Still loving you my Imogin,

Thinking of you on this day. Horrible news was delivered to our classroom last year, but we still remember you and think of you often despite that terrible tragedy. Today your classmates and I will be tying ribbons on YOUR tree outside my classroom door. We will be thinking of your beautiful smile, precious heart, and how much we miss you.

There once was a red haired girl named Imogin.
I remember her smile. I remember her laugh.
I remember how fiercely she defended sissy.
I remember how she loved her mommy and daddy too.
I remember how like a magnet she was drawn to any babies face.
No holding back her love, her laughter, her joy.
I remember Imogin. I will always remember Imogin.

Sweet Imogin, I was so tickled to watch you check out that Paula Deen Cookbook week after week, and all so you could copy the recipes to cook for your family. That's what makes you so unique, always thinking of how to make others happy. You are truly a special angel and i'll miss your precious smile. God Bless you sweet girl.   love, Mrs. O'Grady

This little girl was my cousin's granddaughter, who I didn't know, but from what I have read about her...we should try to be an example of how she was and lived. This is probably what she would have wanted of us all. I'm sure she is watching us and will truly be missed.

“Because God is never cruel, there is a reason for all things. We must know the pain of loss; because if we never knew it, we would have no compassion for others, and we would become monsters of self-regard, creatures of unalloyed self-interest. The terrible pain of loss teaches humility to our prideful kind, has the power to soften uncaring hearts, to make a better person of a good one.”
