Her Life
November 2, 2016

Inez was born as a preemie, three months early on May 15th, 1929 to Matthew Hugeback (deceased 1990) and Margaret Hugeback (deceased 2010) on a farm in Willey, IA. Her family included treasured siblings: Vera Brosnahan of Cooper City, FL; Romayne Hugeback of Azusa, CA with his wife Lorrie (deceased 2015); Harvey Hugeback (deceased 1993) with his wife Mary (deceased 2010); Linda Scott and her husband Richard of Sidney, OH; Susan Hurst and her husband Dick of Wilmington, NC. She also found great happiness being with her many nieces and nephews: Dan, Deb, David, Tina, Tim, Tom, Dan, David, Kathy, Rachel, Katie, and Rebecca. Inez was also incredibly loved by her numerous grand-nieces and nephews as well.

Inez held several jobs including work as a mother’s helper before moving to Omaha, NE where she began work at Brandeis, a large department store. She spent an accolade-filled 37 years of employment at Brandeis, including numerous runs as Employee-of-the-Month and Friendliest-Employee. Inez then moved to Ohio to spend the latter half of her life as a proud Buckeye, making many new friends and becoming an integral part of the Dorothy Love community, whom she loved as a second family.

Inez was well known as a voracious reader, an avid bingo player, a lover of country and polka music, and a creative artist whose coloring pages continue to adorn the walls of many. She shone as a bright, joyous light, becoming an immediate, always-smiling friend to everyone she encountered, greeting each person by name and building strongly reciprocal relationships. Inez's soul truly made the world more beautiful, and she will forever be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
