Her favorite place was at the Marina by the river. She would lay there for hours just staring at the peaceful river and the boats, enjoying the breezes that would flow off the water. Up to the end she tried to walk at the waters edge even though her legs were giving out on her. Never whined, never complained or showed fear. Her last vacation to N. Carolina under the big pecan trees and chasing the squirrels was one we all will never forget and I am glad she had that time with me.
