How do we sum up a life so special in just a few words?

We must begin with laughter, love, and a deep appreciation for living.

Gratitude for each sunrise and sunset, the pleasure of a ride in the countryside, or the simplicity of spending a peaceful evening on the porch.

A sense of humor that kept her and those around her bright and hopeful, even in the most difficult of times

Love for family, friends and a willingness to help all who came her way. Jeanne was an inspiration to all who were lucky enough to know her

The joy she found in being a nurse and taking care of children, for whom she cherished so dearly

She loved finding seashells washed upon the beach, gazing at moonlit mountains and lights upon the bay, but above all it was her sense of adventure and the excitement she found in exploring unknown roads and her dreams of where they may take her, these are the treasures she sought

We are all witnesses to her grace, courage, and relentless optimism. For anyone that knew Jean, the best way to honor her life is to embody her most important attributes; be nice, love everyone, and last but certainly not least, take the unknown road as often as possible, because you never know what treasures you might find

Special Note: While I am the administrator of this website, the words written for my mother and the photos submitted have been a collaborative effort between our family, everyone pulling together in honor of our wonderful mother and grandmother....WE LOVE YOU MOM!.....WE LOVE YOU GRANNY!
